The Hammer Group real estate is another division of Hammer family.
The Hammer family began investing in real estate back in 1965 in the major metros of Germany and Austria. Aside from residential and commercial properties the activities encompassed from old-age homes to fine dining restaurants and in between.
Early 70's saw the Algouneh family building townships, in Abadan and Khoramsher (Iran). These mini cities were mixed-use developments with residential villas, high rise towers, hospitals, schools, town centres etc. In the early 80's the family invested in major cities in the Middle East and Asia and then in Canada and the U.K.
One of the visions in the early 80's was to make "Hammer city
" an entire township of business buildings for all the Hammer companies, in the middle of Phorzheim, Germany. One of the best designers was commissioned the project. The master design was approved and even incorporated the letter H to represent the Hammer company. This dream was realized by the early 90's (with alterations) with the development of 19 buildings stretched over prime city real estate. Along with prestigious factories and business buildings, the 'city' has its own church, petrol station, supermarket and tower as well.
The Group’s portfolio further expanded in 1994 with its purchase and development of commercial buildings in prime locations in Mumbai and Goa in India and Bangkok in Thailand.
From these humble beginnings, today, we have more than $400 million worth of residential, commercial and investment projects currently in the pipeline, with a major interest in inner city property development. This division has property projects in Germany, Austria, U.K, Canada, Kuwait, Iran, India, U.A.E, North America and Thailand.
Our corporate structure and culture offer us remarkable flexibility, a unique combination of strength and agility uncommon in a commercial environment crowded by publicly owned monoliths and smaller, less experienced players.
