A central buying office for the group gives the diamond buyers the 'numbers' to negotiate with the diamond vendors and thus assures each office, price sensitivity and availability of goods at all times. It gives the final customer the unique advantage of complete backward integration and a great price advantage. A team of 5 master buyers, 15 graders and 50 baggers ensure the buying; assorting and fluting of diamonds follow stringent grading systems and provide just in time inventory for the manufacturing plants.
